Common questions

Can I use it without paying?

Yes. The free tier is not a trial. It's a permanent plan with generous limits for most readers.

What happens if I hit my daily card limit?

Your existing feed keeps working. You just won't get new cards until the next day. Saved cards and your library are always available.

What counts toward storage?

Only the original files you upload (EPUBs and PDFs). Generated cards and metadata don't count.

Is the code open source?

Yes. Scroll Reader is licensed under AGPL-3.0. You can self-host the entire stack.
